CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: The 6th International Song Competition is open to duos (singers and pianists) of all nations, who are no older than:
19 years - Group A 35 years - Group B (by March 31st 2019)
The competition comprises three rounds and all rounds are open to the public.
SCHEDULE: First round: May 3rd. Second round: May 4th. Final round: May 5th. Gala concert: May, 5th, 19.00h Concert Hall National Music School, Sofia.
The participants cannot request any commissions or fees for the recordings during the competition, nor can they refuse the broadcasting by TV and radio of the performances.
Each participant shall cover her/ his own expenses for travelling andaccommodation.
The organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damages to any participant during the competition.
The singers must perform the songs by memory in the original language. Individual songs from song cycles are allowed.

If the candidate has to cancel for any reason and can’t participate in the competition, the participation fee will not be reimbursed.

The jury chairman is Prof. DAVID LUTZ, piano-accompanist (University of Music and Performing Arts – Vienna)
PRIZES: First prize: Group A Euro 500, Group B Euro 1000 Second prize: Group A Euro 400,Group B Euro 800 Third prize:Group A Euro 300, Group B Euro 600
A prize for the best interpretation of Song from Austrian modern composers and a prize for the best interpretation of Song from Bulgarian composers.
All finalists will receive a diploma. *If the candidates cannot find any Bulgarian or Austrian modern art songs, they are invited to contact the Secretary of Competition.
